Catalytic Converter: Service and Repair
Exhaust Component Installation:
Catalyst Configuration:
REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Raise vehicle and support catalytic converter.
2. Bolts attaching front exhaust pipe from manifold.
3. Bolts at rear of converter
4. Converter and pipe assembly.
INSTALL
1. Converter and pipe assembly.
2. Bolts attaching front exhaust pipe from manifold.
^ Torque to 30 N-m (22 lbs. ft.).
3. Bolts attaching intermediate pipe to converter.
^ Torque to 48 N-m (35 lbs. ft.).
