SUBJECT:
INTERMITTENT OPERATION OF DECK LID OR BACK GLASS WITH REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY (INSTALL NEW RECEIVER)
MODELS AFFECTED:
1992 ROADMASTERS WITH REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY (OPTION CODE AUO)
CONDITION:
The deck lid or the rear back window glass may operate intermittently on 1992 Roadmasters with the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) Option (RPO AUO).
CORRECTION:
A new RKE receiver, P/N 10220991, was released for production effective with VIN breakpoints NR463050 on sedans, and NW408644 on wagons.
Replace the receiver, as shown in Section 9K of the Roadmaster Service Manual.
Parts are currently available from GMSPO.
