Condition
Some owners may comment that the doors lock and unlock erratically when using the remote transmitter. These vehicles may also experience repeat inoperative conditions and replacements of the remote door/rear compartment receiver.
Cause
Some vehicle systems may induce an electrical spike that internally damages the receiver, and if not properly repaired, will cause repeat inoperative conditions.
Correction
Install a new remote door/rear compartment receiver, P/N 10290737.
