INADEQUATE HEAT/AIR FLOW DISTRIBUTION TO DRIVER'S SIDE FLOOR (INSTALL REVISED HEATER FLOOR OUTLET)
MODELS AFFECTED:
1991 ROADMASTER ESTATE WAGONS 1992 ROADMASTER SEDANS
CONDITION:
Some 1991-92 Roadmasters may experience inadequate driver's side heat.
CAUSE:
Inadequate heat and air flow distribution to the driver's side from the heater floor outlet.
CORRECTION:
Install revised heater floor outlet.
Procedure, Parts and Information:
Install a revised heater floor outlet, P/N 10100996. The revised outlet may be identified from the old outlet by the addition of a rectangular opening and the removal of an extension tab on the left hand side of the outlet, as shown in Figure 1.
