Power Window Motor: Service and Repair

Window Regulator Motor

The power window system uses a 12-volt reversible motor and a self-locking gear drive.

Remove or Disconnect

1. Window regulator assembly.
2. Rivets attaching the window regulator motor, using a drill and a 5/16-inch drill bit.
3. Window regulator motor.

Install or Connect

1. Window regulator motor.
2. Rivets to window regulator motor and window regulator.
3. Window regulator assembly.
