Remote Door Lock Installation:

1. Access to the remote entry connector (green connector) is made by removing the stowage pocket in the wagon, see image view B.

2. Use a screwdriver to connect the two terminals in this connector. The vehicle's door locks will lock and unlock and the compartment lid or liftgate release solenoid will actuate. Leave the screwdriver in place until the programming is completed. Wait for the compartment lid or liftgate solenoid to actuate before proceeding.

3. Push any button on the first transmitter (once and only once). The door locks will lock and unlock again and the compartment lid or liftgate solenoid will actuate. Wait for the compartment lid or liftgate solenoid to actuate before proceeding.

4. Push any button on the second transmitter (once and only once). The door locks will lock and unlock again and the compartment lid 6r liftgate solenoid will actuate. Wait for the compartment lid or lift gate solenoid to actuate before proceeding.

5. Remove the screwdriver from the green connector.

Important
^ Pushing more than one button in step 4 or pushing any button twice in step 4 will result in not being able to program a second transmitter.
^ Failing to wait for the compartment lid or liftgate solenoid to actuate before proceeding with the next step will result in one or both of the transmitters not being programmed.
^ If at any time it is necessary to restart the procedure remove the screwdriver and reinsert it. The locks will lock and unlock again and the compartment lid or liftgate solenoid will actuate. Proceed again with step 4.
