Troubleshooting Hints - Interior Lights

Try the following checks before performing other diagnosis.
1. Check the CTSY Fuse by operating the Horn.
2. If only one component or light does not operate, check the wiring and the suspect component or light.
3. If Courtesy Lights do not turn off, check for a closed Door Jamb Switch, Door Latch Switch or Courtesy Light Switch. If equipped, check the Remote Keyless Entry Module. If switches are OK, check WHT (156) wires for a short to ground and for a faulty Multi-Function Alarm Module.
4. If the Courtesy Lights do not come on when a door is opened, check the associated Door Jamb Switch.
5. If the Courtesy Lights do not come on by opening the Driver's and Passenger's door, check the Multi-Function Alarm Module and related connectors.
6. If Courtesy Lights come on when a door is opened, but do not operate from the Light Switch, check the Light Switch.
7. If Cigar Lighter does not operate, check the CIG LTR Fuse. If OK, check for corrosion or element damage. Check the voltage at socket. If OK, replace the Cigar Lighter.
