Troubleshooting Hints

Try the following checks before performing other diagnosis.
1. Check the Multi-Function Alarm In-line Fuse.
2. The Multi-function Alarm Module that controls the Safety Belt Retractor Solenoids also controls interior lights and the chime alarms and Fasten Belts Indicator.
3. Check that the Multi-function Alarm Module is properly seated.
4. If key-in ignition, lights-on, fasten belts chime or Fasten Belts Indicator does not operate, see Audible Warning Device under Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators.
