Blower Motor: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect engine torque strut and rotate engine forward.
3. Disconnect blower motor electrical connectors and vent tube, then remove blower motor attaching screws.
4. Remove fan retaining nut from blower motor shaft.
5. Holding fan securely, remove fan from blower motor while removing blower motor from vehicle. Failure to hold fan securely can cause fan to fall into heater A/C module.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
