Electronic Brake Control Module: Service and Repair

REPLACEMENT
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove rear quarter trim panel as follows:
a. Pull top edge of lefthand side rear quarter trim panel from groove in quarter window garnish molding.
b. Pull tabs on quarter trim panel from slots in back body pillar and lock pillar trim panel.
c. Remove bottom edge of quarter trim panel from groove on load floor, then remove panel.
3. Disconnect EBCM electrical connector.
4. Remove two EBCM to bracket attaching nuts, then the EBCM from the vehicle.
5. Reverse procedure to install, perform ABS system check as described in System Diagnosis. Testing and Inspection
