Ignition Coil: Service and Repair

Ignition Coil Assembly:

Remove or Disconnect:
1. Remove ICM bracket retaining bolt and stud from engine.
2. Remove coil from bracket by drilling out rivets on coil and bracket.

Install or Connect:
1. Install coil to bracket using two bolts provided with replacement coil.
2. Tighten bolts to specification
Torque Value: 2.8 N-m (25 lb.in.)
3. Install ICM to engine
4. Tighten ICM bolt and stud to specification
Torque Value: 25 N-m (18 lb.in.)
