Traction Control Indicator Lamp

DESCRIPTION
On models equipped with Accelerated Slip Regulation (ASR) or Traction Control Systems (TCS), the "LOW TRAC" indicator lamp comes On to indicate that the system is active and is limiting wheel spin.

OPERATION
The Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) will turn On the "LOW TRAC" lamp during ABS initialization, an ABS stop or a TCS event. It will remain On for approximately three seconds, then turn Off. The type "LOW TRAC" indicator lamp also comes On when ABS is adjusting brake pressure to help avoid a skip.
