PERFORM BEFORE BEGINNING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS:
1. Check I/P Fuse 33. If Fuse 33 is open, check for a short to ground in CKT 40.
2. Check I/P Fuse 35. If Fuse 35 is open, check for a short to ground in CKT 2040.
3. Check I/P Fuses 3, 27 and 28. If Fuses are open, check for short to ground in CKT's 540, 740 and 2540.
4. Check that grounds G104, G200 and G300 are clean and tight.
^ Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause system malfunction but prove "GOOD" in a continuity/voltage check with a system disconnected. These circuits may be intermittent or resistive when loaded, and if possible, should be checked by monitoring for a voltage drop with the system operational (under load).
^ Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems refer Diagnostic Aids. Diagnostic Aids
