(Actuator) Passenger Air Mix Valve

Programmer Assembly:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

- Disable Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) system, Refer to Air Bags and Seat Belts / Air Bags (Supplemental Restraint Systems). Air Bag Systems

1. Instrument Panel (I/P) compartment insert by pulling rearward and disengaging stops.

2. Temperature valve link rod from plastic retainer on temperature valve.

3. Electrical connector.

4. Passenger air mix valve actuator screws and actuator.

INSTALL OR CONNECT

1. Screws after positioning passenger air mix valve actuator.

- Tighten screws to 1.4 Nm (12 lb. in.).

2. Electrical connector.

3. Temperature valve link rod.

- Adjust Passenger temperature valve link rod after installation, Refer to Programmer / Adjustments / Temperature Valve Link Adjustment / RPO (CJ2). Adjustments

4. I/P compartment by pushing forward.

- Enable SIR system, Refer to Air Bags and Seat Belts / Air Bags (Supplemental Restraint Systems). Air Bag Systems
