Turn Lamps

With the ignition switch in "RUN," "BULB TEST" or "START," voltage is applied from I/P Fuse Block Fuse 1B., through the Turn Flasher to the normally closed switch in the Turn/Hazard Switch.

With the Turn Switch in LEFT turn position, voltage is applied through the Turn Switch and through two paths to the lamps. One path is through the LH Front Park/Turn Lamps and the Side Marker Lamps. The second path is applied through the LH Tail/Stop/Turn lamps. The lamps go on immediately. They begin to flash when the current heats up the timing element in the flasher, and the flasher repeatedly opens and closes the circuit. A similar procedure is followed when the Turn Switch is in the RIGHT turn position.
