Anti-Lock Brake Systems
The hydraulic accumulator, when fully charged contains brake fluid at high pressure. Before disconnecting any lines, hoses or fittings, ensure accumulator is full depressurized. Failure to do so may result in personal injury.To depressurize the hydraulic accumulator, turn the ignition to the Off position or disconnect negative battery cable, pump brake pedal a minimum of 40 times at approximately 50 lbs. of force. A noticeable change in pedal feel will occur when accumulator is fully discharged.
