9K-5 Courtesy Lamps Do Not Turn "On" With Unlock Function

Circuit Description:
When the unlock button on the transmitter is pressed, the Remote Control Door Lock Receiver (RCDLR) grounds CKT 1393 to activate courtesy lamps relay and start an internal timer. If the internal timer reaches 30 seconds or the ignition switch is turned to "RUN," the RCDLR removes the ground on CKT 1393. The RCDLR senses voltage from Instrument Panel (I/P) fuse 13 on CKT 639 when the ignition switch is turned to "RUN" to reset the internal timer.

Chart Test Description:

1. Check for a false ignition "ON" signal to the RCDLR.
2. Check CKT 1393, courtesy lamp relay circuit to the RCDLR.
