Manifold Pressure/Vacuum Sensor: Service and Repair

MAP Sensor:

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the appearance cover.
2. Disconnect the MAP sensor electrical connector (3).
3. Remove the Hold down bolts (1).
4. Remove the MAP sensor (2) from the intake manifold (4).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the New MAP sensor seal (5), lightly coated with clean engine oil.
2. Install the MAP sensor (2) to the intake manifold (4).
3. Install the Hold down bolts (1).

Tighten
Bolts to 6 Nm (50 lb. in).

4. Connect the MAP sensor electrical connector (3).
5. Install the Appearance cover.
