ALT

The ALT button is used to access the RDS functions. when pressed, "ALT:" will be displayed on the screen, prompting the user to make an RDS selection. If no selection is made, the ALT display will time out in 20 seconds. If radio backlighting is on and ALT is pressed, the radio dual function backlighting will switch to illuminate the RDS functions
