Condition

Some owners may comment that the trunk may inadvertently open while the transmitter is in their pocket or purse.

Correction

Replace the transmitter with P/N 25678792. The new transmitter has a longer detent to actuate the trunk release so that it cannot be accidentally pressed and have the trunk open.

It is necessary to press the trunk button very firmly to activate the trunk release. Press the button until you feel as though it has stopped and then press harder through the stop. Inform the customer of the change and demonstrate the new transmitter.
