Resynchronization

IMPORTANT
^ Loss of transmitter synchronization will occur if the transmitter is activated more than 256 times while the transmitter is out of range of the remote control door lock receiver.
^ Loss of transmitter synchronization will occur after transmitter battery replacement if the transmitter is immediately activated more than 16 times while the transmitter is out of range of the remote control door lock receiver.
To synchronize the transmitter, press and hold the transmitter "LOCK" and "UNLOCK" buttons simultaneously for at least 7 seconds, or until:
^ The horn sounds (Pontiac equipped with theft deterrent UA6).
^ The horn sounds three times (Buick).
