General Description

The cranking circuit consists of the battery, starter motor, ignition switch, and related wiring. These components are connected electrically.

This vehicle uses three different starter motor applications. The 3100 L82 (VIN M) uses a non-serviceable PG260F starter motor. The 3800 L67 (VIN 1) uses a non-serviceable PG260M starter motor, while the 3800 L36 (VIN K) uses the SD255 starter motor which may be internally serviced.
