Circuit Operation

On vehicles equipped with Retained Accessory Power (RAP), the Body Control Module (BCM) controls circuit 707 to the accessory time delay (RAP) relay. The relay controls battery power, circuit 75, to the RADIO and PWR WINDOWS-PWR SUNROOF Fuses. The BCM will enable the relay under the following conditions:
^ The ignition switch is in ACCY.
^ The ignition switch is in RUN.

The BCM, after sensing a condition in which the ignition switch has been turned from either the ACCY or the RUN position to the OFF or the LOCK position, will continue to enable circuit 707 until one of the following conditions have been met:
^ One of the doors has been opened.
^ 10 minutes have elapsed.
