Heated Seats

Battery voltage is applied at all times to the heated seat control module(s) from the HEATED SEAT Fuse and from the IGN 3 Fuse with the ignition switch in RUN. When the seat heat switch is pressed on the seat/lock switch, the heated seat control module seat heat switch input terminal is momentarily grounded. The heated seat control module then applies voltage to the front seat heaters. The heated seat control module monitors the seat surface temperature through a thermistor and maintains a pre-determined temperature. When the heated seat is off and the seat heat switch is pressed once, the heated seat control module will set the heated seat temperature to HIGH. When pressed again, the heated seat temperature is then set to LOW. After the third press of the seat heat switch, the heated seat control module stops applying voltage to the front seat heaters. The module will also turn off the heated seats whenever the ignition switch has been turned off.
