Pressure Switch

The pressure cycling switch and the pressure switch is mounted on a Schrader-type valve. It is not necessary to recover the refrigerant from the A/C system to replace this switch.

The temperature sensor used on the Oldsmobile require the recovery and recharging of the refrigerant system.

Remove or Disconnect

1. Electrical connection from switch.
2. Switch and O-ring seal.

Install or Connect

1. Switch and new O-ring seal.
^ Lube O-ring with 525 refrigerant oil.

Tighten
^ Switch to 5 N.m (44 lb. in.).
^ Sensor to 12 N.m (106. lb. in.).

2. Electrical connection to switch.
