Electronic Brake Control Module: Service and Repair

Electronic Brake And (and Traction) Control Module:






NOTE: To prevent equipment damage, never connect or disconnect the wiring harness connector from the Electronic Brake/Traction Control Module (EBCM/EBTCM) with the ignition switch in the RUN position.

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. EBCM/EBTCM connector by rotating locking clip forward.
2. Mounting nuts.
3. EBCM/EBTCM by sliding up and away from strut tower.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. EBCM/EBTCM into lower locating slot and sliding downward.
2. Mounting nuts. Tighten Nuts to 11 Nm (96 inch lbs.).
3. EBCM/EBTCM connector.
