Battery Temperature Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Rear seat cushion.
2. Negative battery cable.
3. Positive battery cable.
4. Gently pry thermistor cap from positive battery cable.
5. Thermistor from cable.
6. Electrical connector.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Electrical connector.
2. Thermistor to cable and install cap.
3. Positive battery cable.
Tighten
^ Cable bolt to 15 N.m (11 lb. ft.).
4. Negative battery cable.
Tighten
^ Cable bolt to 15 N.m (11 lb. ft.).
5. Rear seat cushion.
