System Operation

If the vehicle has steering wheel controls, you can control certain radio functions using the buttons on the steering wheel.




SEEK: Press the up or down arrow in order to tune to the next radio station. When playing a cassette tape or a compact disc, press the up or the down arrow in order to hear the next or the last selection.

There must be at least a 3 second gap between the selections on a cassette tape for this feature to work.

PRESET: Press the PRESET button in order to play a station that has been programmed into the numbered pushbuttons.

AM/FM: Press the AM/FM button in order to choose AM, FM1 and FM2. If a cassette tape or a compact disc is playing, pressing the AM/FM button will cause the cassette tape or the compact disc to stop. The radio will then play.




VOLUME: Press the up or the down arrow in order to increase or to decrease the volume.

PLAY: Press the PLAY button in order to play a cassette tape or a compact disc when the radio is playing.

MUTE: Press the MUTE button in order to quickly lower the volume to a very low level. Pressing the button again will return the volume to the previous level.
