Temperature Valve

Blower Case Seal Installation Between The Upper And Lower Cases:

Blower Case Outer Seals:

Remove or Disconnect

1. Blower case.
2. All outer blower case seals.
3. Air inlet housing.
4. Unclip heater/defrost valve vacuum actuator from blower case.
5. Temperature valve electric actuator(s).
6. Blower case upper mounting screws.
7. Blower case seal that is between the upper and lower cases.
8. Temperature valve.

Install or Connect

1. Temperature valve.
2. New seal that goes between the two halves of the blower case.
3. Wet the upper evaporator core seal with water to ease assembly of the upper blower case to the lower blower case.
4. Blower case upper mounting screws.

Tighten
^ Screws to 1.5 N.m (13 lb. in.).

5. Temperature valve electric actuator(s).

Tighten
^ Screws to 1.5 N.m (13 lb. in.).

6. Clip heater/defrost valve vacuum actuator to blower case.
7. Air inlet housing.

Tighten
^ Screws to 1.5 N.m (13 lb. in.).

8. All outer blower case seals.
9. Blower case.
