Without Dual Zone A/C

The operation of the A/C system is controlled by knobs and buttons on the control head. The compressor clutch and blower are connected electrically to the control head by a wiring harness. Airflow is provided by the five blower speeds available. Cooled and dehumidified air is available in all modes. A/C compressor operation is forced in A/C and Defrost modes and is available in remaining modes by pushing the A/C button to light indicator on the button. Low ambient temperatures approximately below 3°C (38°F) will not permit operation of A/C compressor.

The temperature knob controls the temperature valve through a potentiometer in the controls and electric motor attached to the heater module. The knob on the left controls blower motor speed. Turning the knob to the right increases motor speed. The blower is turned off in the OFF mode of operation.

Temperature valve position is independent of mode selection.
