Refrigerant Recovery & Recycling (ACR4 System)

CAUTION: Avoid breathing A/C Refrigerant R-134a and lubricant vapor or mist. Exposure may irritate eyes, nose, and throat. To remove R-134a from the A/C system, use service equipment certified to meet the requirements of SAE J2210 (R-134a recycling equipment). If accidental system discharge occurs, ventilate work area before resuming service. Additional health and safety information maybe obtained from refrigerant and lubricant manufacturers.

NOTICE: R-134a is the only refrigerant approved for use in this vehicle. Use of other refrigerants may result in poor system performance or component failure.

NOTICE: Tools and equipment used to service R-134a vehicles should be dedicated to R-134a. Since all equipment contains some residual refrigerant/lubricant, system contamination may occur resulting in poor system performance or component failure.

J 39500-A GM Air Conditioning Refrigerant Recovery, Recycling and Recharging (ACR4) removes the Refrigerant-134a from the vehicle's A/C system. There is one filtering cycle during recovery plus an automatic multiple pass filtering during the evacuation cycle, assures a constant supply of clean/dry refrigerant for the A/C system charging. Refer to the J 39500 ACR4 manual for operation and setup instructions.
