Underhood Lamps

The underhood lamp turns on when the hood is open. The underhood lamp has a switch that closes (providing ground to the lamp) when the hood is open, and the switch opens when the hood is closed. The switch receives ground through circuit 1650. The IP compartment lamp receives voltage through circuit 1732. The underhood lamp is protected by the inadvertent load (battery rundown) protection in case that the hood is left open.
