Starting System Description

The cranking circuit consists of the battery, starter motor, ignition switch, and related wiring. Only the starter motor will be covered here.

This vehicle has three starter motor applications. The 3100 L82 (VIN M) uses the PG260 F1 starter motor. The 3800 L36 (VIN K) uses the PG260 F2 starter motor. The 3800 L67 (VIN 1) uses the PG260 M starter motor. These starter motors are not serviceable and are replaced as assemblies only.
