Keyless Entry Transmitter Battery: Service and Repair

Transmitter Battery Replacement:

DISASSEMBLE
1. Insert bottom of GM door key into notch in bottom of transmitter and turn.
2. Remove battery and discard.
Do not touch circuit board or battery contact points, transmitter failure or battery failure may result.

ASSEMBLE
1. Insert battery as shown in illustration (+ side up).
2. Align both halves of transmitter and snap together.
3. Press lock and unlock simultaneously for 8 seconds to synchronize transmitters.
