Next Selection Button (NEXT)

The NEXT (next selection) button is a non-latching momentary contact control that serves a dual function with the radio preset button number 2. Pressing the NEXT button moves the tape in the fast-forward direction and begins playing at the start of the next selection. A minimum of 4 seconds is required for the deck to recognize the pause between selections. The audio is muted during this operation.
