Throttle Body Air Inlet Screen Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Remove the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor electrical connector (1) from the IAT sensor (2).

2. Remove the air cleaner intake duct.

3. Remove the snap ring (3) from the throttle body (1).
4. Remove the throttle body air inlet screen (2) from the throttle body (1).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install the throttle body air inlet screen (2) into the throttle body (1).
2. Install the snap ring on to the throttle body.

3. Install the air cleaner intake duct.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten
Tighten the air intake tube clamp to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

4. Install the IAT sensor electrical connector (1) to the IAT sensor (2).
