Scan

The SCAN push-button is a rocker type switch which provides forward scanning of CD selections. This button is shared with the frequency scan function in the radio mode and with the cassette scan function in dual playback applications.

Pressing the SCAN button causes the following actions:
^ The audio mutes and the deck increments to the beginning of the next track.
^ The unit plays the first 10 seconds of the track prior, then increments again and plays the first 10 seconds of each consecutive track.
^ If you press SCAN button again while the function is active, the SCAN function cancels and the current track continues playing.

For remote CD changer applications, the SCAN function operates between the tracks on all of the available discs.
