Odometer Repair Label Description:

Verity that both of the following conditions exist:
^ You have performed one of the following actions on either the odometer or the instrument cluster:
- Service
- Repair
- Replacement
^ The odometer does not register the same mileage as before you removed the odometer.

If both of the conditions exist, perform the following actions:
^ Set the replacement odometer to 0.
^ Attach an odometer/mileage label to the left front door frame.

Include the following information on the label:
^ The actual miles
^ The date
^ The signature of an authorized agent

Retain a copy in compliance with the retention requirements specified in the Guidelines for General Motors Odometer Policy.

Installation Procedure
Use the following procedure in order to install the label:
1. Clean the area around the left front door frame where you will attach the label. The label area should be clean and free from plastisol or any other foreign material which may affect adhesion of the label.
2. Remove the backing from the label (1). Attach the label to the left front door frame (2).
