Glove Box Lamp Switch: Service and Repair

IP COMPARTMENT LAMP SWITCH REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the Instrument Panel (IP) storage compartment. Refer to Storage Compartment Replacement - IP in Instrument Panel, Gauges, and Warning Indicators.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector.




3. Squeeze the tabs on the switch and lamp assembly in order to release the switch from the IP storage compartment.
4. Remove the switch.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Snap the 8witch and lamp assembly into the IP storage compartment.
2. Connect the electrical connector.
3. Install the instrument panel storage compartment. Refer to Storage Compartment Replacement - IP in Instrument Panel, Gauges, and Warning Indicators.
