Charging System Indicators

The IPC illuminates the BATTERY SAVER ACTIVE - 27 indicator in the DIC when the DIM detects that the battery is in a heavy discharge condition for a long period of time. The blower fans, rear defogger, heated seats and heated mirrors are disabled. The IPC receives a class 2 message from the PCM requesting illumination. The IPC sends a class 2 message to the radio in order to activate an audible warning.
