Garnish Molding Replacement - Rear Upper

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the rear door garnish molding from the rear roof inner panel, by pulling the rear roof garnish molding to release the push-in retainers.

Important: The seat belt escutcheon is part of the seat belt assembly.


2. Remove the seat belt escutcheon from the rear roof garnish molding using a small flat bladed tool.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the rear cargo lamp.
4. Remove the rear seat belt from the slot in the rear roof garnish molding.
5. Remove the rear roof garnish molding from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Align the rear roof garnish molding push-in retainers to the roof inner panel.
2. Connect the electrical connector to the rear cargo lamp.
3. Install the rear seat belt to the slot in the rear roof garnish molding.




4. Install the rear roof garnish molding push-in retainers, applying pressure to secure at all push-in retainers locations.
5. Install the seat belt escutcheon to the rear roof garnish molding.
