Lock Cylinder Replacement - End Gate

Removal Procedure





1. Open the endgate.
2. Remove the endgate trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - End Gate (Trim Panel Replacement - End Gate) .
3. Remove the endgate water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - End Gate (Water Deflector Replacement - End Gate) .
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the endgate lock cylinder.
5. Disconnect the endgate lock cylinder wiring harness from the endgate inner panel.




6. Remove the endgate lock cylinder retainer from the lock cylinder.
7. Remove the endgate lock cylinder from the endgate.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the endgate lock cylinder to the endgate.
2. Install the endgate lock cylinder retainer to the lock cylinder, pressing into place until fully seated.
3. Connect the electrical connector to the endgate lock cylinder.
4. Connect the endgate lock cylinder wiring harness to the endgate inner panel.
5. Install the endgate water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - End Gate (Water Deflector Replacement - End Gate) .
6. Install the endgate trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - End Gate (Trim Panel Replacement - End Gate) .
7. Close the endgate.
