Weatherstrip Replacement - End Gate

Tools Required

J 38778 Door Trim Pad and Garnish Clip Remover


Removal Procedure





1. Open the endgate.
2. Remove the push-in retainers from each end of the endgate wearherstrip, using J 38778 .
3. Remove the endgate weatherstrip from the endgate starting at the corner of the endgate and pull the weatherstrip from the endgate pinch-weld flange.



Installation Procedure





1. Position the ends of the weatherstrip to the endgate pinch-weld flange corners.
2. Install the push-in retainers to the holes in the pinch-weld flange.
3. Install the endgate weatherstrip to the pinch-weld flange working from each end toward the center.
