Door/Trunk Ajar Indicator/Lamp: Description and Operation

The IPC illuminates the door ajar indicator in the message center when the Body Control Module (BCM) detects any of the four vehicle doors is open. The IPC receives a class 2 message from the BCM requesting illumination. The IPC sends a class 2 message to the radio in order to activate an audible warning.
