FIXED ANTENNA REPLACEMENTTOOLS REQUIRED
J 38536-A Antenna Bezel Socket
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the fixed antenna mast.
2. Open the rear compartment.
3. Reposition the right side rear compartment trim.
4. Remove the fixed antenna bezel retaining nut using J 38536-A.
5. Remove the fixed antenna bezel.
6. Remove the fixed antenna from the quarter panel.
7. Disconnect the fixed antenna extension cable from the fixed antenna.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Position the fixed antenna to the quarter panel.
2. Install the antenna bezel to the fixed antenna.
3. Loosely install the antenna bezel retaining nut.
4. Connect the antenna extension cable to the fixed antenna.
5. Install the fixed antenna bezel retaining nut using J 38536-A.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
Tighten
Tighten the antenna bezel retaining nut to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
6. Reposition the right side rear compartment trim.
7. Close the rear compartment.
8. Install the fixed antenna mast.
