Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) - Replacement

INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER (IPC) REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the cluster trim plate.

IMPORTANT: The ignition switch must be in the OFF position when removing the instrument panel cluster (IPC).

2. Remove the screws from the IPC.
3. In order to remove the IPC, perform the following procedures:
3.1. Rotate the top of the cluster rearward.
3.2. Disengage the locating pins on the bottom of the cluster.




4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the cluster.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Connect the electrical connector to the cluster.




2. In order to install the IPC, perform the following procedures:
2.1. Rotate the top of the cluster forward.
2.2. Engage the locating pins on the bottom of the cluster.
3. Install the screws to the IPC.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

4. Install the IPC trim plate.
