- Symptoms - Sunroof/Moonroof
SYMPTOMS - SUNROOF/MOONROOFIMPORTANT: Complete the following steps before using the symptom tables.
1. Perform Diagnostic System Check - Power Sunroof before using the Symptom Tables in order to verify that all of the following conditions are true:
- There are no DTCs set.
- The control modules can communicate via the serial data link. Diagnostic System Check
2. Review the system operation in order to learn the system functions.
Visual/Physical Inspection
- Inspect for aftermarket devices which can affect the operation of the Power Sunroof system.
- Inspect the accessible system components for obvious damage or for conditions which can cause the symptom.
Intermittent
Faulty electrical connections or wiring may be the cause of intermittent conditions.
Symptom List
Refer to a symptom diagnostic test procedure from the following list in order to diagnose the symptom:
- Power Sunroof Inoperative
- Power Sunroof Does Not Open
- Power Sunroof Express Open Feature Inoperative
- Power Sunroof Does Not Open to Vent Position
- Retained Accessory Power (RAP) On After Timeout, if the sunroof should continue to operate for more than 10 minutes after the ignition has been turned OFF.
