Cabin Temperature Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair

INSIDE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the right IP trim plate.
2. Remove the knee bolster.




3. Pull rearward on the aspirator hose to disengage from the IP.
4. Remove the temperature sensor from the aspirator hose by turning 1/4 turn counter clockwise.
5. Disconnect the temperature sensor electrical connector.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Connect the temperature sensor electrical connector.
2. Install the inside air temperature sensor to the aspirator hose and turn clockwise 1/4 turn.




3. Install the aspirator hose into the instrument panel.
4. Install the knee bolster.
5. Install the cluster trim plate.
