Handle Lock Rod Guide Block Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. This procedure covers the removal and installation of the front and rear door.
Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door. Service and Repair or Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door. Service and Repair
2. Remove the retaining guide block (1).
Pull the rod (2) upward until it releases from the retaining guide block.



Installation Procedure






Important: Locate the opening in the retaining guide block (1).


1. Install the inside handle rod to the retaining guide block (1), push inward to secure the rod.
2. Install the front door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door. Service and Repair or Install the rear door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door. Service and Repair
