Brake Switch (Cruise Control): Service and Repair

CRUISE RELEASE SWITCH REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the left instrument panel insulator.
2. Disconnect the cruise release switch electrical connector.
3. Remove the cruise release switch from the cruise release switch retainer on the brake pedal bracket.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the cruise release switch to the cruise release switch retainer on the brake pedal bracket.
2. Connect the cruise release switch electrical connector.
3. Adjust the cruise release switch. Refer to Cruise Release Switch Adjustment.
4. Install the left side instrument panel insulator.
